Jim At cloudbase...and above! (On launch, no less. Eventually, the cloud clagging the top of the mountain cleared enough to reveal a beautiful view of the valley, I launched into nil wind, and had a sledder down to the bottom. It closed in again at launch shortly after, so no others got off.)

Orienteering has tried real time tracking, with some success. It makes it a lot easier to follow an event in a small sport via the web.
